Jimani provides Mil-Std-130 UID compliant direct part marking for military and defense related applications including direct part marking and tags. UID, or Unique Identification Marking, marking, is a part of the compliance process mandated by the DoD. UID is a permanent marking method used to give equipment a unique ID. UID marks are required for any item with a cost of over $5,000, is mission essential, a part that is considered controlled inventory or a consumable. UID-marking is a set of data for material assets that is globally unique and unambiguous.
